Wealthy homebuyers in search of ultra-luxury property should focus on the coastal Florida and Southern California markets, according to a new data report from Redfin (NASDAQ: RDFN).

The regional dominance of Florida and California in the ultra-luxury sector might be surprising, considering the two states have endured a surplus number of natural disasters and excessively elevated home insurance costs. Nonetheless, this has not deterred buyers who don’t break a sweat in acquiring residences for nine-digit figures.
