Wayfair’s “Doggy Playroom” Is a MANSION For Your Canine Friends

While anyone with a fence surrounding their property can let their dogs roam free without the fear of them running away (or worse), those without property pet security may be forced to leave their pups inside during the warmer months. Well, not anymore. As of this week, Wayfair is selling what we're calling a doggie playroom that is meant to live outside. Now that temperatures are finally rising, your dog can enjoy the fresh air alongside you in a safe and shaded area that's all their own. Just make sure to order the playroom before it sells out (and we have a feeling it will).

The puppy playroom, which is seven and a half feet wide and nearly seven feet tall, is suitable for pretty much any dog breed, even Great Danes, which can exceed six feet standing up on their hind legs. If you have a smaller dog, you can even coordinate playdates in this adorable (and, might we add, very stylish) space. It's made entirely of cedar wood and can be configured into seven different shapes to accommodate both your dog and your backyard space. While there is a roof, some areas may be directly in the sun depending on the time of day, so if your furry child gets a little too warm, they can just head inside the mostly enclosed dog house for shady refuge.

Speaking of refuge, any and all pups—no matter their age or size—will be perfectly safe here, as long as you follow the instruction manual during assembly and anchor it to the ground. No wildlife can get in, and no pets can get out by way of the gates, which require a human (with opposable thumbs) to lock and unlock them. Trust us; if your dog has FOMO and likes to be around you when you're outdoors, let them relax in this charming playroom with their buds or on their own. We’ll also add that this does not come with a floor, so you may want to consider placing it on the grass, so your fur baby will have something soft to nap on.

If you're looking at this and thinking you do not have the mental or physical capacity to break it down and store it come wintertime, worry not. It can withstand up to 2,600 pounds or up to 30 inches of snow load and winds up to 100 miles per hour, courtesy of the 29-gauge galvanized steel roof.
