Abu Dhabi Wants To Transform Into A Serious Wellness Destination

Abu Dhabi is increasingly positioning itself as a cutting-edge wellness destination, reflected by its newest destination spa, Kintsugi Space.

Kintsugi Space is Abu Dhabi's first female-only members' club, founded by a group of local wellness enthusiasts. This holistic wellness company now spans an impressive seven floors, located on Al Reem Island. Treatments at Kintsugi take inspiration from all across the globe and range from the ancient to the avant-garde, leading with quantum technology.

Other wellness companies in Abu Dhabi are following closely in Kintsugi's footsteps. The Emirati capital has already seen the opening of the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, a multi-speciality luxury hospital spanning 23 acres.

Luxury wellness real estate is also a rising trend, a prime example being the UAE's first wellness-focused residential community coming to Saadiyat Grove. 148 units had to be added to the community after the initial 204 units were sold within days of its launch. It will boast facilities such as a wellness concierge, rooftop zen gardens and fitness spaces.
