A little less than four years ago, soccer star Lionel Messi purchased a unit in Miami’s Porsche Design Tower, a luxury residence where the amenities list includes a car elevator called a ‘dezervator’. Messi hefted the 3,130 sq. ft. unit onto the market this winter, tagging it at $7.75 million.
The property contains three bedrooms and five baths in its duplex layout. The highlight of the design is the double-height wall of glass that illuminates the living area and brings the sedate tradewind landscape below into full view. A balcony overlooks this primary space.
The building’s sensibility is optional ‘car culture’, however, and for those amenable the ‘dezervator’ elevator brings one’s four-wheeled pride and joy into the décor, providing a well-defined context to the style. A glassy ‘garage’ is the storage vehicle.
Additional amenities in the unit include a wet bar, while materials on display include white marble and smoked glass. The building’s offerings include a sunset deck, car simulator, movie theater, virtual sports, and beach and pool service.
